Tour Details

Discover the Unspoiled Beauty of Iceland’s Westfjords and Highlands: Available only between June and September, this exclusive adventure takes you off the beaten path into the heart of Iceland’s untamed wilderness. The Westfjords and Highlands remain pristine and less traveled, offering a unique escape from the tourist crowds. Delve into a world of natural wonders as you journey from glacier to glacier along the famed Kjolur trail, and then explore the tranquil Westfjords, a haven for hiking, birdwatching, and relaxing in natural hot baths. Choose this extraordinary trip for an authentic Icelandic experience, where unspoiled landscapes and solitude set the stage for a truly exceptional unique adventure.

Highlight of this trip
  • A trip away from mass tourism. The West fjords region receives less than 10% of the tourists who come to discover Iceland. With this low percentage, it is one of the wildest regions of the island and which retains all its authenticity. The discovery of this region is for those who want a connection with nature in the most real and simple possible way.
  • Authenticity. During this stay you will be far away from the “fancy” restaurants of the capital or the standardized design hotels. This region offers an authentic and sometimes almost abandoned aspect that will charm those who wish to discover a country without its tourist traps.
  • Hot baths in nature. The West fjords is one of the regions with the most natural hot springs in nature, a good “excuse” to experience this typical Icelandic activity in the heart of beautiful landscapes.
  • Rich fauna and flora. With less than 3 inhabitants per km2, animals, especially migratory birds, are particularly extensive in those deserted areas. Nature lovers, bird watchers, photographers, this is where you will have the best chances of finding close contact with this rich nature. The flora is often sumptuous, very changeable according to the seasons and always spectacular.
